Revised double taxation agreement Switzerland-Japan.

On May 21, 2010, Switzerland and Japan signed the protocol to amend the double taxation agreement (DTA) in the area of  taxes on income. The Protocol of Amendment signed by Finance Minister Hans-Rudof Merz and Ichiro Komatsu, Japan's Ambassador to Switzerland, contains provisions on the exchange of information in accordance with the OECD standard, which were negotiated in line with the parameters decided by the Federal Council. The revised DTA will contribute to the further positive development of bilateral economic relations.
